Harper has head in the tar sands

Will the new Conservative government keep its head buried in the tar sands, or will it come up for air?

Excellent article by May. She is the most articulent environmentalist who can easily explain the science and how we can change our ways. I do so hope she gets elected in her riding in Nova Scotia. I am a NDP, and I am glad that she won the leadership of the Greens. I also strongly support PP so that the NDP and the Greens don't need to duke it out.

I agree Jan, on both PP and Elizabeth! :)

It would be great to see parliment actually made up of members that truly represent the views of those who elected them.

Today we have a system where people vote against someone more often than they vote for someone.

If you happen to be in the Ottawa area on Oct 25, come out to the Ironworks pub in Almonte (7PM) to hear Elizabeth May speak and to meet the local chapter of Fair Vote Canada.

Hiya,

As a fellow Green thinker, may I make a suggestion that you add your posts to The Canadian Blog Exchange (http://canconv.boundbygravity.com/)? The more green-related posts that are made, the more prominent those topics become, and they move up towards the top of the page - so that those who don't normally read Green-minded blogs see our posts. Helps spread our message!

Cheers.
